The opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Claims Officer to join our Melbourne-based Motorcycle team on a Permanent basis. This position will see you provide delivery of superior claims service, determining proper policy coverage to conclude, investigate, evaluate, and negotiate assigned cases.

Your responsibilities will include:
The management of lodgements and repairs for Motorcycle Claims utilizing multiple claims systems and processes

Maintaining positive stakeholder relationships with the insured, agents and service providers

Interpreting basic policy coverage and determining if coverage applies to claims submitted

Receiving, recording and processing incoming insurance claims

Authorizing payment within scope of authority, settling claims in the most cost-effective manner and ensuring timely issuance of disbursements and

Identifying suspicious or potentially fraudulent claims and arranging investigations.

Your story so far

Demonstrated experience in a customer focused environment

Experience in a similar role within Motorcycle Claims will be highly advantageous

An individual who has mechanical or technical bike knowledge will be highly regarded

Highly developed customer service, communication and negotiating skills

An individual who is tech savvy and quick learner

Strong organizational and time management skills

A high level of analytical and interpersonal skills

While not essential, a motorcycle enthusiast would be advantageous!
