The role

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Investigator to join our Claim Investigations team.

As a valued member of the team you will be responsible for reducing our exposure to fraud and non-genuine claims across the Managed Fund Claims portfolio which includes Workers Compensation and other personal injury claims .

How will I help?

A day in the role may look a bit like this;

Analyzing suspected fraudulent and other non-genuine workers compensation claims

Manage high volume of investigation referrals to determine what claims require further investigation

Manage the investigation process associated with workers compensation and other personal injury claims , as required.

Instruct and manage external investigative service providers to ensure effective cost-efficient services are provided

Prepare clear and concise evidence matrix reports for claims to determine liability

Conduct desktop intelligence reports utilizing social media and other public data sources

Provide strategic investigative advice to claims

Devise surveillance strategies for Claims and external Counsel in support of suspected non-genuine personal injury claims.

Contribute to the refinement of processes and procedures to improve fraud analysis and procedures

Ability to adapt to legislative and industry changes

Where appropriate represent QBE Managed Fund Claims at industry forums (eg: Icare)

Your story so far

To be successful in the Claim Fraud Investigator Role you will have…

3 + years in an investigation role and or extensive claims management experience in Workers Compensation, or personal injury insurance products

Law enforcement or Insurance Investigation experience highly regarded

Strong analytical and attention to detail skills

Strong time management and ability to manage high volumes
