CCTV Engineer Job at Balfour Beatty – in Birmingham
Balfour Beatty Vinci has an exciting opportunity for a CCTV Engineer to join our team to work in Coleshill on HS2.
The successful candidate will be required to assist in developing and delivering security systems along with maintaining them throughout the term of the project.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Systems Integration Manager to understand the existing systems and to assist in growing and developing the remaining areas throughout the tenure of the project.
What you’ll be doing
Support Integration Manager and sub-contractors with installing and maintaining a wide range of IP related security equipment for systems including CCTV, access control, Intruder alarms and Fire Systems. All systems are to be integrated into the BBV’s overall network
Provide excellent service to all sites across the project, building solid working relationships with BBV personnel.
Prepare for jobs by reading site details, job requirements and ensuring all equipment is available.
Fault finding and problem solving when attending call outs / breakdowns.
Provide on-site technical support and solutions to customers during both reactive and routine visits.
Complete all company paperwork in a timely and accurate manner. Adhere to health and safety requirements.
Who we’re looking for
Full UK driving license.
A good understanding of IT Systems and competent at compiling networkable systems
