Description:
Aerotek is seeking to hire an Avionics Technician who will be responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and modifications of avionics equipment in corporate and general aviation aircraft aircraft. This is a traveling role based in Seattle, with mostly local daily travel (within 100 miles), occasional road trips/AOG trips further in Washington.

This is a full-time, long-term role intended for someone seeking a stable career in the Aviation industry, with flexible schedules, great variety in projects, the camaraderie of a small team, and highly competitive compensation.

The Avionics Technician will report daily to the maintenance office in Seattle before embarking to the worksite (usually driving, occasionally flying), to perform maintenance work ranging from line checks & troubleshooting, to installs, inspections, biannual certifications, etc.; and will communicate closely with other team members to access and interpret the appropriate manuals, select tooling, etc. Requirements:

Must have strong experience and competence in several of the following areas: maintenance, troubleshooting, biannual certs, installation/configuration/testing of Avionics equipment in Corporate and General Aviation aircraft

Must have valid driver’s license, willing to use personal vehicle

Must own basic avionics/electronics technician tools
