Position: Avionics Technician
Work as an Avionics Technician on aircraft that fly every day. Avionics Technicians with Cessa & Piper experience keep this academy of 40 airplanes flying. Technicians are a critical level of safety, helping to inspect aircraft, prepare them for flights, and keep all electrical systems ready. Interact with pilots, maintenance, and the community to gain aviation operational experience.
Job Description

Perform installation and troubleshooting on electrical system
Must be able to work flexible hours, shifts and holidays
Assist with mechanical / electrical removals and installation
Assist with other maintenance disciplines as needed
Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required

Qualifications

Airframe and/or Powerplant (A&P) License (Preferred but not required)
2 years Part 135 or 145 repair station experience (Preferred)
Knowledge of Garmin, Avidyne, and Aspen preferred (Preferred)
Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings
Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and/or aircraft status
You able to work in seasonal / inclement weather outside
Ability to understand verbal / written instructions in English
Able to pass drug test, background check
Able to clean the floor and organize after work is done
Ability to sit, stand, bend and walk for extended periods
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
