Must have (2) years or more direct related aircraft maintenance experience (Commercial aircraft, MRO, Military; or AMT graduate with 1yr or more work experience).
Airframe or Airframe & Powerplant certification preferred, but not required. The experienced Avionics Technician will perform repairs, checks and installations of all Avionics systems on the aircraft while under general supervision.

This is a Full-Time, 40 hours a week position that has full Benefits, Paid-Time-Off, Holiday Bank, 401K and more!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Within budgeted or estimated time, performs installations, removes and replaces components, performs simple checks and tests with the appropriate amount of supervision.
Accurately interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, system schematics, drawings, engineering orders and other documents from both the customer and ATS.
Properly utilized and maintain Avionics hand tools to perform repairs and installations.
Fabricate per drawings and standard practices wire bundles and assemblies to include marking of wires, properly securing wires into bundles, and termination of wires into a variety of contacts and connectors.
Accurately document work performed as set forth by ATS and customer maintenance
programs daily using the standard format. Prepare routine reports and correspondence..

Operate ground support equipment e.g. power carts, Hi-Reach, etc. as required.
Other duties may be assigned.

Skills and Requirements:

High School education or equivalent; two years of related commercial / military aircraft experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
FAA Airframe or Airframe & Powerplant license preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels regarding all job-related issues both verbally and in writing.
Must have a general knowledge of fundamental electrical theories and practices.
Ability to perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions such as add, subtract, divide in units of measure and ability to compute rate, rations and percentages.
Demonstrate the ability to research proper hand-tools utilizing standard wiring practices manuals.
Abiility to read and interpret manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, drawings and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement or modification.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to operate ground support equipment e.g. power carts, Hi-Reach, etc. as required.
May be required to move or lift 25– 50 pounds
This role may require you to balance, bend, climb, crawl, reach, sit, stoop, twist, walk; use their hands, fingers, and arms; talk and hear; and focus on objects up close.
