Overview:

We are seeking a full-time
Aviation Services Specialist (Load Planning) for our office in Scottsdale, Arizona. In this role, you will be responsible for acting as first level customer support to provide technical support to customers utilizing load planning solutions. Direct inquiries to proper departments and escalate customer needs as required.
Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

Provide technical support for Garmin load planning products and services to customers
Receive and answer basic-to-moderately complex customer inquiries and requests regarding products, timelines, pricing, and other services offered
Investigates and determines root cause of solution issues or failures
Test and deploy Garmin load planning products and solutions
Coordinate with customers to implement changes
Conduct quality assurance reviews
Develop customer training materials and solution documentation
Work with internal teams to assist with design and development of new load planning application features
Customer service with a focus on efficiency and accuracy
Develop and maintain department and company image and philosophy to the public
Remain current on changes in policies, procedures, and product offerings
Applies Garmin’s Mission, Vision, Values and Quality Policy and enthusiastically exhibits a desire to see Garmin succeed
Works collaboratively and professionally in a team environment with other Garmin associates to achieve goals

Other Responsibilities:

After hours on-call coverage
Ability to travel for customer support and training
Cross training within other departments
Other clerical duties, special projects, and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace, Business or related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others

Desired Qualifications

Private Pilot’s License
Previous work experience in aircraft load planning
Previous work experience in above and below wing airline operations
Previous work experience in air cargo operations
Flight Dispatching experience
Computer coding and database experience
