European Air Transport Leipzig GmbH (EAT) is a subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL Group. It is an aircraft maintenance company as well as a cargo airline. YOUR TASKS

The Aviation Security Manager (m/f/x) at European Air Transport is responsible for implementation, alignment and monitoring of all national and international security requirements (e.g. Reg. (EG) 300/2008, Aviation Security Act) at DHL AIR HUB Leipzig. The Aviation Security Manager (m/f/x) leads and develops a team of experts and professionals based on our CIM 21st Century Manager methodology. In detail, this means:

Responsibility for the management of departments assigned by the Airline Aviation Security Manager

Implementation and maintaining of the Air Carrier Security Program

Representation of our airline towards relevant authorities

Execution and Development of a management system that ensures supervision and control of functions and activities within the scope of aviation security in accordance with regulatory requirements, IOSA standards and recommend practices

Initiation and implementation of aircraft security measures in order to effectively prevent any unauthorized access or introduction of prohibited articles to the Aircrafts

Indemnification of compliance monitoring and KPI set up within the field of aviation security and monitoring of implemented security procedures together with the evaluation of their effectiveness

WHAT YOU BRING

Completed degree program and several years of relevant professional work experience or equivalent education through extensive working experience

Comprehensive knowledge of the international regulatory framework plus European and German legislative and other statutory requirements regarding security

Ability to liaise with legal, commercial, operational departments to implement projects

Professional experience in communication technology, electrical engineering or safety engineering

German on a native speaker level is a requirement

Business fluent English knowledge

Strong interpersonal and people management skills

Interpersonal skills, effective communication style

Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
