Job Summary/Basic Function

The occupant of this position will act as an Administrative Assistant for the Aviation Maintenance Technician Program directly reporting to the Director of the AMTP and supporting specific needs of additional School of Aeronautics departments. The occupant will be part of a fast-paced highly integrated team that delivers rigorous education and training for students studying for professional aviation careers. Job duties will include but are not limited to: marketing and recruiting; managing school records; answering phone calls from external and internal clients, potential and current students, current/prospective staff; arranging travel; reconciling purchasing card transactions; creating specific requisitions; planning meetings and recruiting events; processing new students. This position requires someone with excellent communication skills who works independently, accurately, well under pressure, and in a fast-paced environment while exercising sound judgment.

Minimum Qualifications

Two or more years’ experience in similar position preferred. Well-developed communications skills.
