Michael Baker has an immediate opening for a Civil EIT to join our aviation practice in Little Rock or Bentonville. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving production of airfield designs, as well as supporting other general civil project designs. The candidate will be responsible for the development and design of construction plans and specifications. Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
Develop or build on your experience in airport airfield design projects, if any, including construction of terminal aprons, runways, taxiways, supporting utility infrastructure, siting and design of NAVAIDS, pavement design, and construction and safety phasing.
QA/QC reviews throughout the life of the design.
Performing civil design and plan production for a wide variety of airport improvement projects at airport clients across the state of Arkansas.
Assisting Project Managers and Engineers in design oversight, client and project coordination, grant funding support, construction support, and CADD related tasks during all phases.
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum 0 – 4 years of civil engineering design experience with a concentration in general civil and/or airfield design.
Proficient with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D design
Airfield civil design experience is a plus.
COMPENSATION The salary range for this position is $50,796 – $105,825. This will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.
