Responsible for assisting one or more Project Managers in the administration and management of one or more aviation projects.
Ø Assist Project Managers in administering one or more projects, to ensure budget, schedule and quality adherence and performance, in accordance with the contract documents and established procedures.
Ø Proactively resolve issues to minimize client exposure.
Ø Proactively work to avoid claims and resolve claims expeditiously to minimize client exposure.
Ø Assist the Project Managers with project reporting through the Project Status Report weekly updates.
Ø Assist in the tracking of all soft cost expenditures to ensure projects are adhering to the original budget.
Ø Assist in coordination of project activities with airport tenants, airlines, DFW departments, governmental and other agencies.
Ø Assist the Project Managers with the oversight of the design consultants to ensure design projects stay on schedule and on budget.
Ø Assist with the design review process to verify comments are tracked, responded to and closed out expeditiously per the required timelines.
Ø Utilize the DFW approved software to manage projects (Unifier, BIM, Primavera P6, etc.).
Ø Assist in preparation of monthly report(s) detailing the progress, accomplishments, issues and current status of the project.
Ø Assist in preparation for, and negotiation of, design consultant and construction contractor fees and change orders, claims, and revisions to the design and/or construction scope, schedule and budget.
Ø Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Project Manager(s.)
Ø Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project or Construction Management
Ø Minimum of two (2) years of experience in administering projects of similar size, type and complexity.
Ø Must be able to obtain a SIDA-cleared badge at DFW.
Ø Must possess a valid Class C driver’s license and be able to obtain a certification to drive in DFW’s AOA movement area.
Ø Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
