Job DescriptionIntelsat’s Rotational Associate Program is a highly competitive two-year program that provides recent graduates the opportunity to develop their technical skills in the communications industry at the forefront of satellite innovation. As a Rotational Associate, you will work for 8 months at a time, over a two-year period, in three different teams and experience the day-to-day responsibilities of the different career paths and work with different teams as they collaborate to achieve their goals.

Intelsat’s Rotational Associate ProgramIn this track, you will utilize your education and skills and have the opportunity to make a lasting impact working with the Systems Innovation, System Validation and Product Management teams. Upon successful completion of the 24-month program, you will be promoted and placed accordingly into a role that will align with and build upon your experience.
Comprehensive Orientation and training and coaching throughout the program

Opportunities to present (concluding each 8-month rotation)
You should definitely have:
Ability to exercise sound judgment, professionalism in dealing with and seeking creative solutions to problems, and exhibit maturity in the workplace
Effective communicator in both written and spoken English
Good oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in use of MS Office Suite, including analysis in Excel
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Discipline, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Operations Management, Economics, STEM or Network Administration (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of this requirement)
A passion to build new things, products and services that make a difference in the world of connectivity and communications.
You run toward the needful, you will anticipate second, and third order problems associated with the work under your charge.
An interest in systems engineering, product development (e.g., leading groups of varying engineering disciplines), and technical consistent processes. An interest in aviation in general is a plus.
Knowledge of digital network communications and RF signal theory, digital satellite network architectures, IP networking. In addition, in-depth knowledge of VSAT networks and platforms as well as TCP/IP protocol suite and network protocols (unicast/multicast, VoIP, IPsec, QoS).
Ability to use diagrams, tables, or figures to improve the presentation of technical material, and the acumen to ensure key technical issues are addressed consistent with customer objectives.
Initiative, drive, and comfort working on the “fuzzy front end” of development.
It would be nice if you have:
Master’s Degree preferred
Systems engineering experience desirable. (Ed’s Preferred)
Ability to configure and troubleshoot satellite modems, VSAT terminals, Cisco/Juniper routers, firewalls, LAN switches
