You willcontribute to and originate design across the UAS spectrum to include implementing Defense Standards for Electrical, Communication and Power Systems, Embedded Processing, Machine Learning, Ground Control, Vehicle Systems, Harnessing and Printed Circuits. Qualified applicants do not need expertise in each of these areas but expect to learn and be in a dynamic and rapid-paced development environment. Expect periodic travel to support suppliers, customers, field testing, and demos.

Onsite work in Manassas, VA is required for this position
Product focused support of full system electrical design from architecture down to circuits, with associated build, integration, and test
Source components for electrical systems working with other Electrical Engineers
Manage vendor relationships including RFI, RFP, RFQ and associated vendor interaction
Support in-house integration and testing of subsystems and assemblies
Support field testing in a variety of environments
Need to Have:
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or similar technical degree
0 to 5+ years active design experience with direct examples of efforts
Nice to Have:
Direct UAS electrical system design, build, integrate, test experience
Direct Networking Experience
Aircraft power system design experience
Direct PCB and Circuits simulation, design, build, test experience
Demonstrated ability to work with vendors, expect to provide examples
