The Global ASL fleet of 140 aircraft includes 17 aircraft types from the Boeing 747-400F to the ATR-72 turbo prob. The Group has confirmed 20 slots with Boeing for 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighters (BCF) aircraft. Delivery of these next-generation aircraft has started and will continue until 2023.
In 2020, despite the global disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, ASL’s airlines continued to operate with 80% global aircraft utilisation on average. The airlines operated more than 122,000 flight hours, carrying 810,000 tonnes of freight and 2,620,000 passengers.
While some of the group airlines were founded more than 40 and 50 years ago, ASL Aviation Holdings’ foundation essentially began in 1998 and the company has been profitable every year since its incorporation. Annual revenue now exceeds €1.1bn EUR.

The purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth day to day running of the flight dispatch and flight operations duty teams in the safe and timely execution of their roles.
Promote and implement the Company Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure the prevention of accidents
Oversee the Day to Day running of Flight operations and cargo activities and ensure all operations are conducted in a safe efficient manner, in compliance with all requirements
Ensure all route planning functions are met and that all airport arrival and departure slots have been allocated; Liaise with relevant ASL staff to ensure the implementation of the flight schedule
Lead, motivate and empower their team through example, effective & open communication, regular performance feedback in order to maximize customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and team productivity. Ensure training standards are met for operations duty managers
Administer the operational flight plan system and other dispatch systems. Ensure dispatch duty rosters are completed in advance and that all shifts are adequately covered
Maintain competence on the basis of continued education and training in their area of responsibility. The company will facilitate this process
Proficient in MS Office
Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisor role with strategic and budgetary aspects
International express or logistics or aviation industry background
Minimum of 10 years experience within a major airlines environment, preferably Flight Operations
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the EU.
