Airline Business Support Officer Job at Resource Group – in Dublin Airport, County Dublin

Resource Group is currently seeking an Airline Business Support Officer (BSO) to be based in Dublin with an important operator across Europe and North of Africa.

The BSO will work multi-functionally within different airline departments, reporting directly to the Operations Control Manager.

The BSO is responsible but not limited to the following:

Support the Operations Control Manager

  • Managing KPIs, creating analysis reports and overseeing third party suppliers.
  • Responsible for the oversight of Operations Control within the limits of the airline’s coordination and limits specified in the issued AOC.
  • Monitor training module in Centrik to assure no crew training expires
  • Monitor operational limitations of all flights
  • Retroactively cross check selected operational flight plans from the previous day of operation ensuring compliance.
  • In the event of an emergency, follow the airline’s ERP procedure.
  • Complete Retroactive Compliance checklists which detail the checks required to be completed on the previous day of operation ensuring compliance to HBN procedures.
  • Complete Proactive Compliance checklists which detail the checks required to be completed on the future operations ensuring compliance to HBN procedures.
  • Prepare Daily Operational Brief Material.
  • Raise any safety hazards or occurrence reports through the company reporting process.
  • Attend all regular operations, safety, security meetings as deemed appropriate and assist with minuting and follow up requirements.

Support Ground Operations and Security Manager

  • Assist with day to day analysis of security related occurrence reports.
  • Assist with the overall aviation security oversight and promotion.
  • Attend all regular business unit meetings as deemed appropriate and assist with minuting and follow up requirements.
  • Carry out site operations inspections to complete high-level checklist driven operations inspections.
  • Analyze data from inspections and provide suggested corrective action for field experience as appropriate.

Support Training department

  • Ensure compliance through effective monitoring of EASA regulations, IOSA and company requirements.
  • Prepare Safety and Compliance for the implementation of the EASA Part-ORO regulations
  • Assist in the update, revision and standardization of standard operating procedures and workflows within the safety and compliance division.
  • Liaise with the relevant departmental operational teams to monitor safety, security, and compliance trends.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in the IOSA audit process.
  • Prepare, participate, and assist in audit programs, HIRAs and corrective action plans
  • Administration of the safety reporting and compliance monitoring database.
  • Assist with the overall safety oversight and promotion.
  • Attend all regular business unit meetings as deemed appropriate and assist with minuting and follow up requirements.
  • Assist with day-to-day analysis of safety related occurrence reports.
  • Develop and maintain procedures to ensure the safe and efficient operations network wide.

General office administration duties

  • Invoices, stationary, IT/Equipment controls for office staff, travel bookings for staff, annual leave administration, etc.

Main Requirements

  • EU Passport. Worldwide unrestricted.
  • Understanding of Airline commercial position and excellent appreciation policies and procedures.
  • Strong skills on the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Proven experience in data analysis and management
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Desired requirements

  • Working knowledge of Centrik, LIDO, AIMS, Aviobook systems.
  • Previous experience in Airline Office Management, Operations Control (IOCC), Crew training, Ground Operations and Security.
  • Knowledge of IOSA standards and recommended practices.
  • Knowledge of EU regulations pertaining to EASA – Air Operations.
