Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Test Engineer to work on-site with our client, a French multinational aircraft engine, rocket engine, aerospace-component, and defense corporation.
The Test Engineer will provide testing support to engineering projects related to water and waste systems and components. Using sound engineering principles, this engineer will work to ensure that accurate and representative test stands, and system test rigs are constructed and maintained.
Main projects 1) support for B787 Water Pump verification and qualification preparation, B787 VG system thermal fuse and verification testing 2) VIP pump & A220 Heater Nuisance faults
Responsibilities:

Supports the system or project engineer in the fabrication of equipment for the purpose of engineering evaluation and testing of products or systems. Utilizes sound technical problem solving to support ongoing projects with support from higher level engineers Able to accurately capture test data and document via test reports for submittal to external customers Able to work independently to support engineering efforts. Able to demonstrate the test stands/rigs to customers Takes responsibility (technical and project management) small/medium projects with support from management and/or higher level engineers. Has the mechanical, electrical, and control/software knowledge to lead the construction of system test rigs Provides input for system improvements based on testing observations. Utilizes sound technical problem solving to own or support ongoing and new projects Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (B.S) in engineering required or 4 years of relevant engineering experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Aided Drafting/Design skills (AutoCAD/Inventor preferred) Knowledge of industry design and documentation standards Experience in manufacturing techniques Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Ability to work independently and cross-functionally as part of an established and growing team.
