Aircraft on Ground (AOG) Coordinators are part of a team that provides 24/7/365 time-sensitive aircraft material support to the Sun Country Maintenance department. This duty is accomplished through either orchestrating the movement of Sun Country inventory to an aircraft or through purchasing aircraft materials to meet the operational requirement. The highest priority is placed on out-of-service aircraft and obtaining all resources necessary to return the aircraft to revenue service in the shortest amount of time possible. Initiate the movement of Sun Country inventory to support time-sensitive aircraft requirements throughout the network.
Source, negotiate, and procure aircraft materials. Execute purchase, exchange, service, and loan orders to support time-sensitive aircraft requirements.
Determine the most appropriate shipping/transportation method which ensures material arrival time meets operational need.
Communicate across multiple working groups to ensure all stakeholders are continuously updated with real-time material status information.
Continuously track and manage multiple high priority material movements from order pick-up through delivery. Identify and communicate with stakeholders when changes arise that impact the expected arrival time.
Expedite open purchase, loan, exchange, and repair orders as required.
Update material status reports daily.
Attend and provide updates on aircraft specific material in daily operations or planning meetings.
Perform clerical duties as assigned.
Any other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills
