This job is based out of Wilmington, Ohio. Davcor Aviation Services, is a leader in the Aircraft Fuel Systems Maintenance and Repair Industry. We are currently looking for Fuel Systems Mechanics aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul requirements.
Aircraft Fuel Systems Mechanic
Job Duties and Responsibilities: Mechanics will maintain, inspect, repair, modify, overhaul and troubleshoot Commercial Aircraft Fuel Systems in compliance with policies, manuals, procedures, and requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must have the minimum tools as required.
Must be able to work in a confined space with a 10″ by 18″ opening.
Must know how to troubleshoot Fuel tank leak path analysis
Have the ability to carry out fuel tank repairs, to include removal and replacement of fasteners, pumps, lines, panels, bonding wires, and valves.
Repair, modify, replace or otherwise perform routine aircraft maintenance work in specialized area of the aircraft.
Must have a general understanding of aircraft structures.
Develop repair schemes utilizing SRM or Engineering data
Able to Troubleshoot fuel migration and defective parts.
Perform operational checks of fuel tank systems.
Perform Defuel and Refuel operations, to include sumping of aircraft fuel tanks.
Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
Must be willing to work any shift and be willing to work overtime (as requested). Work hours are determined by aircraft availability
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels by keeping co-workers and leadership apprised of work progress and difficulties as they arise.
Complete job assignments in a safe and timely manner.
Complete on-the-job-training (OJT) forms and required reading.
Read and interpret manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, drawings and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement or modification.
