Aviation certification NOT required.
Aircraft Accessories of Oklahoma is an FAA approved repair station (#RV3R829L) rated in Class I and Class II aircraft accessories.
We also have a limited rating for aircraft propellers and nondestructive inspection (NDI).
You can find our expansive, 10,000sqft repair station at 2740 N Sheridan Road in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
We employ over 35 of the finest aircraft technicians in the industry. Many of our techs have been in the field for over 10 years and have personally serviced hundreds of units
Job description

The technician will perform testing, evaluation, cost estimating, repair and overhaul of Aircraft Magnetos (and other duties assigned) per FAA requirements while using repair manuals, electrical schematics, and illustrated parts lists.
The technician may be required to cross-train in different departments (i. e. Aircraft Starter Adapters) depending upon current product demand.
The technician will complete work orders, notify customers of work progress either by phone or email and place parts requests.
Safe work practices and organized work area will be maintained continuously.
Essential PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection) will be supplied.

Required skills and experience

ALL applicants will be required to pass drug testing per FAA requirement.

High school diploma or GED, “hands on” trade school or technical college is a plus.
Have own basic mechanics tools.
Minimum of 3 years mechanical assembly repair, aviation, industrial or automotive.
Thorough understanding of basic electronics DC and AC and applicable physics
Daily use of test equipment, meters, gauges, precision measuring instruments, hand tools, drill presses, lathes etc.
Experience working in an industrial environment with loud noise, chemicals, fumes, is a plus.
Ability to stand, walk, crouch, sit, carry up to 40lbs, see and work with very small parts.
Previous customer service experience is a plus.
