Major functions:

Intermediate professional with practical knowledge of job area.

Works under moderate supervision to set objectives for own job area.

Communicates with contacts inside and outside own team to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures Identifies and addresses changes within own job area.

Works to achieve operational targets with some impact on departmental results.

Compile and release required reports in accordance with applicable technical directives, and contractual statement of works which have significant impact on the business operations.

Analyze and report any discrepancies to program POC’s as required.

Provide required solutions in accordance with applicable technical data and FAR direction.

Correct discrepancies as required to ensure accurate recordkeeping.

Conduct in-depth aircraft records investigations regarding missing, incomplete or contradictory information received from the customer to reconcile.

Interface with program office and customer, as needed concerning maintenance issues and assist in developing corrective action plans.

Account for all records upon induction of aircraft.

Analyze incoming discrepancies and Post Flight Cards for correct data and trending.

Review aircraft records received in accordance with applicable technical direction.

Update and maintain records daily in accordance with applicable technical direction.

Provide data input to applicable databases, as required to maintain accurate record keeping.

Review and maintain a Monthly Maintenance Plan, cataloging required scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements to include: outstanding applicable technical directives compliance, high time components, Airworthiness

Requirements

Requires practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

Thorough understanding and working knowledge of United States Air Force aircraft logs and records requirements is required.

Working knowledge of Maintenance Manuals and Technical library operation.

Experience working in a Depot Level maintenance and modification environment is preferred.

A combination of schooling and experience will be considered.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Must be able to obtain and maintain or have a current DOD Secret Security Clearance.

Experience working with Automated Maintenance Management System CAMMS and G081 preferred.

Experience extracting requirements from military contracts.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
Schedule:

Monday to Friday
