Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Ground Operations, the Aircraft Detailing Technician supports the day-to-day operations of our flagship hangar by ensuring our aircraft maintain a pristine appearance at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain the interior of all aircraft, including but not limited to:

Sanitizing all surfaces, including lavatories

Adjusting seats and seatbelts

Vacuuming of carpeted areas and under seats

Cleaning and maintaining of stock/inventory drawers

Conditioning of leather seats

Extracting of carpets and mats

Ensuring cockpit is cleaned and maintained both pre- and post-flight and is prepared for its next mission

Maintain the exterior of all aircraft, including but not limited to:

Detailing all painted surfaces, including leading edges, inlets, cowlings, and pylons

Cleaning underneath all wings, struts, and wheels

Cleaning windows

Responsible for refilling and maintaining stock/supplies and reporting any discrepancies or needs to Management for replenishment

Detailing of company vehicles and ground equipment

Responsible for maintaining a clean and professional working environment

Assist with flight crew before and after flights as needed.

Must be flexible to work any shift, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Must adhere to all departmental safety guidelines in addition to company policies and procedures

Ability to handle physical workload up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to work in all climate environment.

Assist with Ground Operations as needed and requested.

Other duties as assigned by management or senior leadership.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger and required to reach with hands and arms, perform duties that requiring tooling or machinery, and utilizing hands and fingers to work in tight spaces. The person in this position needs to be able to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. There is a constant operation of a telephone and computer.
