About the Role:
We are looking for a Configuration Control Manager to join our team quarters in Indianapolis! This individual manages the fleet configuration of our 3 mainline parters’ aircraft. They will lead and be responsible for the airlines Service Bulletin review, tracking, and implementation. As well as managing our weight and balance program.
What You’ll Do:
Maintains database of Service Bulletin (SB) installation configurations.
Researches and develops data for monthly meetings on Service Bulletin implementation plans.
Maintains an up-to-date serial numbers list of aircraft operated ine.
Investigates and analyzes Service Bulletin pertaining to the aircraft.
Keeps current and advises management on new Airworthiness Directives (AD) and SB’s.
Oversees the airlines Weight and Balance documentation processes.
Maintain the BEW and BOW for the fleet
Aides Engineering disciplines in evaluation of modifications and configuration control.
Maintains and updates the Emergency Equipment Manual.
Assists in the preparation of Engineering documents, manual supplements, Inspection Program modifications and associated paperwork related to various aircraft systems and components.
Provides technical assistance to various departments and/or personnel to facilitate the proper evaluation of modification orders.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Associates Degree in Aviation/Aerospace/Related field, or equivalent combination of professional experience.
3+ years of experience in 14 CFR Parts 121 Engineering or Technical Service departments.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant license, or 5+ years of reliability/technical services experience on different types of large airplanes with 10 enger seats with an air carrier.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Access).
