GP Strategies has an immediate need for a Certification Assessor/Proctor Lab to support a large aerospace client in San Antonio, TX. We are seeking candidates who can conduct re-certification assessment/proctoring facilitation covering a broad range of Aerospace Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, and Structures subject matter. This is a full-time, benefitted role.
Conduct/coordinate recertification facilitation events for customer employees.Conducts and performs Re-certification Assessments using the appropriate medium and method (computer-based electronic testing, written testing, and practical application testing) to satisfy business needs and requirements.Assesses and tests the competence of employees in performing tasks of re-certification and qualification to comply with government and organizational standards and specifications.
Re-certification Open Lab Facilitation, E-Test and paper testing.Assess/test practical application testing to meet the requirements.Determine the needs of learners within the LMS (My Learning)Proctor and inspect the re-certification session / assess initial written assessmentsRoster results in LMSExecute site re-certification needs/completion reportsMaintain order in lab areaMaintain lab documentation and policiesMaintain printed assessment packages for all courses.Maintain packet material quantitiesUpdate packages post engineering/courseware changesMaintain secure storage of materials
Must be able to work any shift: Approximately 70% 1st shift, 20% 2nd shift, 10 % 3rd shift.Six months or more of aircraft manufacturing experience or other relevant aerospace experience (e.g., maintenance, repair, overhaul, or military)Prior experience as an instructor in electrical, aircraft systems and fiber optics is a plusExperience with Shield Terminations, Crimping, Bond & Ground and SealQuality Assurance experience a plusAbility to read process specifications and engineering drawings
